2021 was once again a great year for getting our Montana Wounded Warriors out hunting. Pheasant, antelope, mule deer, whitetail, elk and buffalo were harvested and many families were blessed. We would like to thank those who have continued to allow our vets to hunt this year: Hill Ranch Oasis, Trophy’s Plus Outfitters, Montana Hunting Adventures, Schuett Farms, Dan Keller and The Goose Down Ranch, AG Ranch, Kennedy Ranch, H Double C Ranch, and the Keating Family. We would not be able to this without you.
For the 7th year in a row Montana Wounded Warriors were invited on 3 cow elk hunts on the week of November 29 – December 3 at the NBar Ranch. This is only possible due to the Wilks family and their kindness, generosity and patriotism. Board member Bob Lilienthal was joined by Montana Wounded Warriors (MWW) Tyler Tummons, Seth Whitfield and Chad Grabil; board member Kristi Taylor was joined by MWWs Art Hazen, Ryan Morton and Jeremiah Barlow and board member Neil Baumann was joined by MMW’s Mackay Mathiason, Brandon Olsen and Kelly Niesken.
Due to the expertise and professionalism of NBar associates Justin, Todd, Russ and Dale, everyone was able to fill their cow tags and enjoy the fabulous NBar.
The accommodations, meals, and overall experience were once again amazing.
The hunters were in awe of their experience and so very thankful for this opportunity. Montana Wounded Warriors would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the NBar for this fabulous opportunity to bless our Montana Wounded Warriors.
I can honestly say that the Anderson Hunt is incredible! To have wounded Vets come on to a real homestead ranch and get the real feel of staying on an historic ranch and hunting some the most incredible whitetails and mule deer, and get to relax in the most wonderful accommodations, and the most wonderful family you will ever meet. My experience with the Anderson Ranch has been top notch and so much fun. A place to winddown and just be a part of other Wounded Vets lives, this makes it all worth while. The Montana Wounded Warriors that joined me were brothers, Adam and Nathan Strash. A huge thank you to Donna and Karl Anderson for your hospitality.
