Seeley Lake Deer & Elk Hunt 2024

We were contacted by the Smith family in Seeley Lake and invited to come down and hunt deer and elk. This was a very nice piece of private property with some awesome food plots, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of acres of  Forest Service land.

We saw a small herd of cow elk, but in this area only branch antlered bulls were legal. Both of our hunters, Ryan Brubaker and Michael Swanson, had opportunities to harvest deer, but only Ryan was successful. He shot a very nice 5-point whitetail buck that dressed out at 250 pounds. We stayed in cabins on the Smith’s property, and they invited us into their home for meals. We appreciate the Smiths welcoming us into their home and treating us like old friends. We hope we will be invited back again next year as we truly enjoyed ourselves.
