Trout Creek 2023
On September 10, 2023, Montana Wounded Warriors, for the first time, took a group of four veterans and their spouses on an all-expense paid three-night, four-day fishing trip and retreat to Trout Creek, Montana. While there, the couples stayed at an 11,000 square foot lodge, each with their own en-suite luxury room, enjoyed home cooked breakfasts and meals out in the Trout Creek / Thompson Falls area, floated, and fished the Clark Fork River, and hiked and fly fished a beautiful six-mile section of Trout Creek. They were also treated to an afternoon of soaking at Quinn’s Hot Springs. The veterans and their wives were able to take rare moments to themselves and enjoy the camaraderie and new friendship of other veteran couples, including that of a couple veteran fishing guides, including Jim Senn and Shane Jelsma. We are incredibly thankful to have gotten to know these amazing individuals and hope to continue building long-lasting friendships with each of them.
